Check eligibility while the goods are still at the warehouse

Open the specific order and identify the problem before requesting a return: wrong option, visible defect, missing component or a change of preference. The reason affects the evidence, seller response and who may bear the return costs.

OOPBUY’s published policy makes its standard warehouse return service conditional on seller acceptance, resale condition and an eligible time window. Some goods or altered packaging fall outside the standard conditions. Check the item and seller terms rather than assuming every stored product can be returned.

02

Submit the application within the relevant deadline

The returns page describes a five-day, 120-hour application window, counted from the next hour after the order is stocked in. Check the account’s recorded time and submit promptly; do not use the longer warehouse storage period as a return deadline.

Keep tags, accessories and original packaging intact while the request is unresolved. If you are close to the cutoff or the timestamp is unclear, contact support with the order number immediately and ask which action is needed to preserve an eligible application.

03

Provide evidence that connects the issue to the order

State the ordered option, what arrived and the outcome you are requesting. Attach the relevant warehouse image, label or measurement. For a discrepancy with the listing, retain the seller page detail that shows the promised option or measurement method.

Keep the request focused on the issue support can verify. If you want an exchange, specify the replacement option and ask about stock and additional charges. Avoid submitting a parcel containing the item while its return or exchange is being considered.

04

Confirm service fees and return delivery charges separately

For a return or exchange for personal reasons, the published policy waives the service fee on the first operation in each calendar month. After that allowance is used, its stated CNY 5 service fee applies to requests for goods already stocked in the warehouse without a quality issue. This is not a blanket charge for every later after-sales request. Check the allowance and fee shown on the application page.

Domestic freight is separate from that service fee. For a preference-based return, ask whether the seller’s original dispatch cost and the return journey are both payable, including any original “free shipping” cost the seller reclaims. Exchanges can add replacement dispatch costs. For a wrong item, defect or transport damage, have support confirm responsibility and the agreed charges before authorising the return.

05

Follow the request through seller receipt and refund settlement

An application, an accepted return and a completed refund are different statuses. Follow the case record for approval, return dispatch, seller receipt and the amount actually credited. Keep the return tracking details until the case is closed.

Check the refund destination and any separate withdrawal or payment-provider processing time. A seller agreeing to return the product price does not establish when every related charge will be settled. Reconcile the final credit with the accepted resolution and ask support about a missing amount using the case number.

Questions about dispatch, exchanges and overseas returns

What if the seller has not dispatched the order?

The published policy says the return/exchange service fee is not charged at that stage. Use the order inquiry or cancellation option and check the purchase status and refund amount; do not apply the warehouse return fee formula automatically.

Can I exchange an item just because I prefer another size?

Check the seller’s acceptance, time limit and item condition. Confirm replacement stock and the costs before proceeding; a size preference is not the same as evidence of a wrong item.

Can I use the warehouse return process after international delivery?

Overseas returns involve different conditions and potentially return shipping to China. Contact support about the specific item before sending it; do not assume the ordinary warehouse process or domestic shipping cost still applies.

What if the seller rejects the request?

Ask for the reason and compare it with the order evidence and applicable terms. Keep the case record and ask support what further review is available; approval cannot be inferred from the act of applying.
