Pants

Build an outfit from the bottom up. Browse denim, track pants and shorts, and see which colours and leg shapes work with the shoes and tops already in your wardrobe.

Each card links to the full listing for that item. Keep a comfortable pair nearby when you look at the size chart; the waist and inseam notes below make the numbers easier to compare.

Choose the leg shape and hem position you want before comparing sizes. Record waist, rise and inseam from your reference pair, using the same measuring points as the listing. Check the stated stretch and waistband construction rather than judging those details from the silhouette alone.

02 / CHOOSE WITH CONFIDENCE

Compare the measurements behind the cut

Lay a comfortable pair flat and keep waist, rise and inseam in one note. Check how the listing defines each number before choosing a size.

Four numbers worth keeping together
DetailHow to compare it
WaistCheck whether the chart uses flat width or circumference, and whether elastic is relaxed or stretched.
RiseCompare the crotch-to-waistband measurement using the same front or back reference.
InseamMeasure along the inner leg from the crotch seam to the hem.
Thigh and leg openingCompare flat widths to judge room through the leg and the shape at the ankle.
ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE

Flat width and circumference are not the same

A flat waistband width of 40 cm corresponds to approximately 80 cm around the garment. Compare it with another garment measured the same way. For an elastic waist, ask which tension the chart uses.

A USEFUL QUESTION TO ASK
For size __, is the waist a flat width or circumference, and is it relaxed? Please confirm front rise, inseam and flat leg-opening width.

Review the item you actually ordered

  • Match the waist or size label and the chosen colour.
  • Inspect the waistband, fly, pockets and crotch seams.
  • Request a measuring photo if a key dimension is unresolved.

Check composition and stated stretch separately. A wide leg describes the cut; it does not tell you whether the fabric stretches.

TWO COMMON QUESTIONS

Why can two pairs with the same waist fit differently?

Rise, thigh width and inseam affect the overall shape. Compare all of them with your reference pair, including where you prefer the waistband to sit.

Is the advertised size number enough?

Use it to locate the correct chart row, then read the actual garment dimensions. Check the units and waistband definition instead of assuming a number is an exact body measurement.
