Track the storage deadline for each item separately

Orders from different sellers can arrive on different days. Build a list of the stored items you plan to send, including arrival date, review status, displayed storage deadline and any item still in transit. The oldest arrival usually needs attention first.

Use the deadline shown for the specific item in your account. Public instructions can describe general rules or use different starting events; do not calculate every item’s expiry from the date of your most recent purchase.

02

Resolve the conflicting storage deadlines before waiting

OOPBUY’s public pages do not give one consistent disposal deadline. The dedicated storage page describes a normal 90-day period from “received” and says goods may be treated as abandoned after that period without a submitted waybill or response. The separate shopping guidelines mention possible disposal when no shipment order is initiated within 120 days of warehousing.

Do not interpret those statements as an automatic 30-day grace period after free storage ends. Check the deadline displayed for each item and ask support to resolve any discrepancy before that deadline. Do not rely on the later public figure as permission to wait.

The storage page also describes an extension priced at CNY 10 per 30 days. Confirm which items it covers, the charge and how to apply before expiry. Verify the new deadline in the account after approval; a published extension option does not mean an expired item can still be recovered.

03

Resolve inspection and return issues before waiting for more orders

Review each item soon after warehouse arrival. A storage allowance gives you time to hold goods; it does not extend the seller’s return eligibility or the platform’s after-sales application period. An early arrival can lose its return option while you wait for the final item.

Keep items marked “awaiting measurement” or “after-sales pending” out of a ready-to-ship group until the issue is settled. If you decide to retain a questionable item, record that decision explicitly rather than letting it become an accidental consequence of delay.

04

Compare waiting, extending and sending a separate parcel

Use the earliest storage deadline, the remaining seller’s expected dispatch and current parcel quotes to compare the options. Waiting is easier to justify when the outstanding order has a credible arrival estimate and all stored items have comfortable time remaining.

If the arrival date is uncertain, compare the quoted extension cost with the cost and practicality of sending the ready items now. Combining goods may reduce repeated shipping charges, but a larger parcel can change route eligibility or charging weight. Calculate the alternatives rather than assuming one parcel is always cheapest.

05

Confirm parcel processing and close the storage record

When you submit the ready items, verify the parcel contents and follow the account status through packing and shipping payment. A submitted request may still need action; check whether the items have actually moved out of storage processing.

Retain the parcel number and update your list so that only genuinely stored items remain on it. For any item left behind, keep its own deadline and next action. This avoids treating a partially shipped collection as though every order has been dealt with.

Parcels that cannot be matched to an account

What if a parcel cannot be matched to my account?

The dedicated storage page describes a separate 30-day period for abnormal or unidentified goods. Contact support promptly with tracking and order evidence to establish the correct account record.
